I was actually at Maple Leaf Gardens for the show the night before, which was identical to the “farewell show” that happened Dec 17, 1982.

    I was at the show with my brother. I still get a thrill watching the footage and knowing that I witnessed greatness.

    I was working that night. BUT, I was at Exhibition Place on that freezing cold October day when The Who played their (supposedly) last show in Toronto. At the end,I can still remember how we stared dumbly at each other saying “what did he say?” after Pete shouted: “See you in December!!”
