Toronto the Not in a Death Spiral:

November 26th, 2012

In case you miss it, the headline above is irony:spiral toronto

Mayor Rob Ford has been punted from office, just days short of celebrating his second anniversary of being sworn in.

Judge Charles Hackland’s eagerly awaited decision in a conflict of interest case was handed down at 10 a.m. Monday at a downtown courthouse.

Did you vote for Rob Ford for mayor. Silly citizen, this is democracy in name only. Vote in the approved patterns, and all is OK. But go outside the guidelines allowed by your betters, and we have judges.

Frankly, it’s getting close to the time to let chaos reign.

Follow the money and/or lawyers. 😉

The same law firm is representing both civil law suits against Ford. That I find quite a coincidence.

I seem to recall a story several months back tying in Paul Magder as a union activist angry about Ford’s record braking win in 2010.

What is this Magder’s angle then the lame cover story.

Question is this the same judge as described below?

Are you actually claiming this judge and his decision was politically biased? Really?

He’s the judge that was appointed by Harper and recently was in the news for throwing out Helena Guergis’s defamation suit against Harper.

Say what you want about the ones who started this claim, but the judge ruled he broke the law because he broke the law. Even most conservatives, while blaming the activists who started this process, concede that the ruling was correct and that Ford has been proven to be an arrogant bonehead for letting this thing get this far.

I never said that — I was curious on who the judge and thus ran a google search — the link I saw startled me for what it said. I was curious if this was the same judge or not.

So much of the media has been waging a war against Mayor Ford since he was a Toronto Councillor that intensified since the first day he announced he was running for Mayor.

I was curious on the background of the judge & the person who launched the law suit. Clayton Ruby’s reputation speaks for itself.
