, and written songs for such luminaries as Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Ray Price. His song-writing credits include Sunday Morning Coming Down and Help Me Make It Through the Night, yet he is most noted as a performer.
But it is because he wrote the incredible Me and Bobby McGee that I wish Kris Kristofferson a happy 70th birthday today.
