John Tory Loses

As the following image shows, John Tory did not get beaten last night in Haliburton—Kawartha Lakes—Brock, he flat out lost. A full third of his voters stayed home (thanks to Right From Alberta for the graphic).

It is long past time for John Tory to resign as leader of the Ontario PC party, but he must now do so immediately.

    John Tory losing another seat is causing me mixed emotions. Kind of like the time my mother-in-law drove my new Cadillac over a cliff!

    not only did the 10,000 lead by Laurie Scott last time not vote for Tory, it is clear that some crossed to the liberal to assure Tory’s loss.

    Bill:

    I think more of the Lib increases were from dippers strategically voting. I don’t think a significant number of PC voters would vote Liberal considering McSquinty’s $18B deficit.
