Dear Susan: We Don’t Want You

May 30th, 2008

via NY POST:

SUSAN SARANDON, who appeared in three films last year and won kudos for her TV movie “Bernard and Doris,” is still not a contented soul. She says if John McCain gets elected, she will move to Italy or Canada. She adds, “It’s a critical time, but I have faith in the American people.”

Ms. Sarandon. Loved you in Bull Durham. Really, it’s a great movie and you were pretty good back then. However, we really have enough leftist blow hards here, so if you are, unlike Alec Baldwin, serious, please choose Italy.

Didn’t Alec Baldwin threaten that in ’04 if Bush won again? Did he ever move? Perhaps the back log was too discouraging for him once he realised his celebrity couldn’t get him to the front of the line like it would at a Wolfgang Puck restaurant.

Haven’t been through Hespler in ages. Pretty hip and all with a blog. Mom lives in Elora, sadly we live nowhere near that beautiful country but if I can get a week off I’m headed there with my bike (bicycle) to enjoy.

Per the post; Amen. I’m no fan of the bushleague but even less a fan of whiny starlets. Best to you in Hespler. ::thrive!

…and take Barbara Streisand with you too.

Yes, Baldwin did make that threat and I suspect Sarandon’s will end up being just as empty.

She has probably not yet been informed by her accountant that taxes are higher in Canada.
